Firefighters battling a wildfire near Pasadena have received a boost as winds have calmed down, allowing aircraft to join the firefighting efforts. Pasadena Fire Chief Chad Augustin confirmed that aircraft have been conducting water drops over the fire since around 10 a.m. local time on Wednesday.
