New images show firefighters working into the night to tackle a blaze at a derelict building.
Residents were warned to avoid the area as fire crews tackle a blaze at a derelict commercial property in Bolton on Saturday evening (June 17). Crews urged all residents to keep all doors and windows closed as they continued to work to to extinguish the flames.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said on Saturday: “At around 6.50pm on Saturday 17 June, GMFRS crews were called to reports of a fire on Railway Road, Horwich.
“Three fire engines from Horwich, Wigan and Atherton stations, alongside the hydraulic platform from Leigh, quickly attended the incident, which involved a derelict commercial building.
“GMFRS crews remain at the scene. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are using hose reels and jets to extinguish the fire.
“Residents nearby are advised to keep doors and windows closed and people are asked to avoid the area if possible.”
Fire and rescue service crews remained at the scene as the sun went down and night took hold.
