Firefighters have battled a blaze near the M73 after tyres were found alight this evening.
Images from the scene show a well-developed fire in a wooded area off the motorway in Easterhouse in the east end of the city.
Emergency services rushed to the incident on Commonhead Road at around 7.15pm.
Two fire engines were scene to the scene and crews extinguished the blaze, leaving the scene at around 8pm.

A spokeswoman for Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "We attended a fire near Commonhead Road this evening after receiving reports of tyres on fire.
"We received the call at 7.13pm and left the scene at 8.04pm.
"Two fire engines were in attendance."
