Firefighters rescue fur-ightened cat from apartment fire in Dublin

A poor kitty was fur-ightened after a blaze erupted in an apartment in Dublin.

The Dublin Fire Brigade crew came to the rescue of the adorable cat during an incident on Wednesday evening. Firefighters from Tallaght and Dolphins Barn managed to extinguish the flames at the apartment.

The emergency service shared a picture of Middergams the cat who looked equal parts relieved and terrified after it was rescued by brave recruit firefighter Cormac. A spokesperson for Dublin Fire Brigade said: "Firefighters from Tallaght and Dolphins Barn fire stations extinguished a fire in an apartment this evening

"Middergams the cat was rescued by recruit firefighter Cormac. (Cormac on right) Crews used a positive pressure fan to ventilate the property."
