Bushfire warnings have been cancelled after a 'prepare to leave' alert was issued for a fast moving blaze travelling toward a north Queensland caravan park.

A warning area had been declared between Seisia Road, Pajinka Back Road and the beach in the township of Seisia, about 40 kilometres south of the tip of Cape York.

Conditions eased on Tuesday afternoon and crews are no longer required on scene, a notification from Queensland Fire and emergency Services said.

The earlier 'prepare to leave' warning had said some properties were under threat.
