Fire ripped through a building in Pollokshields in the early hours of the morning sending thick smoke across the sky.
Emergency services were called to Forth Street around 4.25am on Friday following reports of a fire at a property on the street.
Fire crews remain on the scene of the blaze which appears to have taken hold inside a building occupied by Persia Catering Equipment.

Footage from the scene shows the flames bursting through the roof of the property with the fire already well-developed before emergency services arrived on the scene.
Forth Street is currently closed at the junction of Maxwell Road and Darnley Street as emergency services continue to work at the scene.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 4.25am on Friday, 20 January, 2023, we were called to a report of a fire at a property on Forth Street, Glasgow.
"Emergency services are currently at the scene.
"The road is currently closed at the junction of Maxwell Road and Darnley Street.”
A Scottish Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 3.51am on Friday, 20 January to reports of a building fire in the Pollokshields area of Glasgow.
"Operations Control mobilised four appliances to the city's Forth Street, where firefighters were met by a fire within a commercial premises.
"Firefighters extinguished the fire and currently remain on the scene working to ensure the area is made safe.
"There are no casualties."
