After the Pittsburgh Steelers’ 23-18 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders, some fans lightened up on the Matt Canada leash ever so slightly. Many did not, including someone in the College GameDay crowd at Durham, N.C. for the Notre Dame-Duke game.
Blitzburgh grabbed a screenshot of the prominent sign in all its glory — it’s not just Fire Matt Canada — it’s Still Fire Matt [Canadian flag]. This guy isn’t being fooled by the 23 points the offense put up over a bad Vegas defense.

Pittsburgh’s offense is improving week-to-week, which is all one should expect at this point in the season. We should wait patiently, but it’s been as painful as watching the Steelers struggle can be.
Matt Canada called a solid game — against the 30th-ranked Raiders defense. Let’s see if he can make it two in a row with the 26th-ranked Texans. Better yet, maybe we should wait until the 7th-ranked Ravens come to Acrisure before we make any accurate assessment.
