The Raiders offense struggled again on Monday night, as they only scored one offensive touchdown and needed a defensive pick-six to remain in the game. On the season, Las Vegas has only scored 20 points or more once in eight games, and that even required a late-game safety vs. the Patriots to surpass that mark.
Raiders fans were not happy with Las Vegas’s offensive performance, and they seem to be done with their coach as a result. After the game, “Fire Josh McDaniels” was trending on social media just halfway into his second season with the team.
Twitter just told me I’ve tweeted Fire Josh McDaniels too much.

I disagree
If the #Raiders FIRE Josh McDaniels today, I will give one of my followers who likes this tweet any Jersey they want.

Raiders Need To Trade Devante Adams & Fire Josh McDaniels. Seasons Cooked

Davante Adams doesn’t deserve this. It’s absolutely killing his career. Free the man and fire Josh McDaniels as well as that bum Jimmy G and lets reset. #RaiderNation

McDaniels was hired in the 2022 offseason, right after the Raiders made the playoffs with interim head coach Rich Bisaccia. Since then, Las Vegas is 9–16 and moved on from their longtime franchise quarterback, Derek Carr, in favor of veteran Jimmy Garoppolo.
After another loss, McDaniels did not commit to Garoppolo remaining the starter, while star wide receiver Davante Adams appeared visibly frustrated and running back Josh Jacobs was flummoxed by the offensive struggles. Las Vegas hosts the Giants on Sunday to try and get back in the win column.
