Two people were rushed to hospital after they were forced to jump out of a flat window to escape a fire in an East Kilbride building.
The blaze erupted in the flat at Denholm Green at around 2pm yesterday (Sunday) with emergency services attending shortly after.
Police, fire services, and paramedics rushed to the scene with officers confirming two people were taken to Wishaw General Hospital after jumping out of the flat, Lanarkshire Live reports.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were called at around 2.10pm on Sunday (November 6) after receiving a report of a fire at a building in Denholm Green, East Kilbride.
"Emergency services attended and two people have been taken to Wishaw General after jumping from a flat.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the cause of the fire.
Social media reports suggest they jumped from the second or third floor, while one witness said: "Blue lights everywhere, fire, ambulance and police."
Police say enquiries are ongoing.
One comment on social media suggested they "had to jump from the third floor," with another saying it was "pretty horrible to watch."
