Fire fighters were fighting a bush blaze in a Dublin Park as the country swelters through a potentially record breaking heatwave.
The Department of Agriculture have issued a Status Orange, High Forest Fire Risk Warning, which will remain in place until Wednesday. The heatwave is expected to come to an abrupt stop on Tuesday night when thunderstorms and heavy rain showers will take hold.
