Fire crews are returning to the scene of a blaze they tackled for EIGHT hours in Aberdeenshire.
The inferno ripped through a derelict community hall in Kingseat near Newmacher on Tuesday night.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) were called to the village's Marshall Mackenzie Road just after 7.30pm.
Images shared with the Daily Record show huge flames towering over the hall.
The fire can bee seen for miles with as locals watched on in horror.
Shared online at around 11pm, there is no sign of the inferno going down as crews did not leave the scene till around 4.30am.
Fire chiefs on Wednesday morning told the Daily Record that crews were returning to the scene to re-inspect the area.
No injuries have been reported at this stage.
The cause of fire is unknown.
A SFRS spokeswoman told the Record: "We were called to the scene at 7.42pm following reports of a fire at a derelict building.
"We mobilised two appliances then another appliance plus water carrier.
"Jets and breathing apparatus were in use at the scene.
"Crews left the scene at 4.36am.
"Officers are going back this morning to re-inspect the scene to make sure it is safe.
"We have no reports of injuries and the cause of fire is unknown at this time."
The Daily Record have contacted Police Scotland for comment.
