FIRE crews have rushed to the Clyde side following a "building collapse".
Crews are on the scene at 138 Hydepark Street, which sits between the city centre and Finnieston, after the alarm was raised at around 3.20pm on Wednesday.
Two fire engines are in attendance as a precautionary measure.
It is understood that the building was meant to be torn down in a controlled demolition but collapsed early.

There are no reported casualties.
The Scottish Sun revealed the moment the building collapsed in a video.
They say a stunned worker was on the first floor when he started to feel a wobble and claim he ran out of the construction site with seconds to spare.
One eyewitness told the newspaper passers-by were left "terrified" as they watched the drama unfold.

They said: "I was just walking through the area and I saw a worker in a high-vis vest climbing out of the building on the first floor.
"He very quickly got through the barriers and made his colleagues aware to get away from the building.
"It came down so quickly. It was the loudest bang I have ever heard.
"I stood and talked to some of the workers, they are a bit shaken by just the noise alone.
"The structure wasn’t due to come down for a while, so the workers were shocked when it began to wobble.
"There were a few others standing by at the side of the building in the industrial park.
"When it started to move they began to run for safety, people were just terrified.
"Nobody was expecting it."
