Shortly after 9am, there were already at least five police vehicles, seven fire engines and six ambulances on scene.
Emergency services have been pictured having a joint discussion which also appears to have representatives from the housing association Salix present.

Fire crews, police officers and paramedics are currently on the scene.
Several incident response units have also been pictured.
A cordon is in place around the area.

“Six fire engines are in attendance, with firefighters using six breathing apparatus and two hose reels to extinguish a fire in a flat on the tenth floor of Mulberry Court.
“An investigation into the fire is now taking place.”

Thomas Molloy of Manchester Evening News, who was present at the scene said: “[The fire] was contained within one flat, and there was a huge effort from the fire service and police in getting everyone evacuated."
Emergency services were called at around 8am after a silent alarm triggered the fire service to travel to the flat.
Sue Sutton, chief executive at Salix Homes, who runs Mulberry Court said: “The safety of our residents is our primary concern and we would like to reassure all our residents that the fire alarm system activated as it is designed to, along with the additional fire safety measures we have in place on the block.
“In line with the Stay Safe policy in operation at the building, the alarm is designed to sound in the area affected by fire.
“The fire service evacuated the rest of the building as a precautionary measure.
"We set up an emergency refuge for affected residents at neighbouring Sycamore Court and at our offices in Weaste.
“Some residents were allowed back in the building shortly after 10.30am and we are supporting residents who have still been unable to return to their homes.
“We are continuing to work with Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service to determine the cause of the blaze.”
