A rubbish fire affected a takeaway and some nearby flats in Weston-super-Mare. Fire, police and ambulance services all attended the scene of a blaze this morning.
Fire crews from Weston-super-Mare, Clevedon and Winscombe were called at 9.14am to Bransby Way in Weston. On arrival at the scene, they found a rubbish fire, which was affecting the takeaway outlet and nearby flats above.
Photos from the scene show the extent of the damage caused by the fire. Police and ambulance crews also attended the incident.

Fire crews used a high pressure hose reel and a 45mm covering jet to extinguish the blaze. All persons, and pets, were accounted for.
Avon Fire and Rescue said, "Crews from Weston-Super-Mare, Clevedon and Winscombe were called at 09:14 to reports of a fire. On arrival, firefighters found a rubbish fire which was affecting a nearby takeaway and the flats above.
"Crews used a high pressure hose reel and one 45mm covering jet to extinguish the blaze. Two firefighters would breathing apparatus for safety.
"Thermal imaging cameras and gas monitors were also in use. Residents were safely evacuated.
"Our police and ambulance colleagues were also in attendance. The cause of the fire is thought to have been accidental ignition."
