Fire services were called after a fire broke out at Michelin-star restaurant Variety Jones in Dublin city centre.
The incident happened last night shortly after 7pm on Francis Street. Four fire trucks and a turntable ladder had to be dispatched to extinguish the flames.
Restaurant management took to Instagram to update its customers, saying: "We'll need a little time but we'll be back soon." They also said that "the damage is a lot less than it could have been and everyone is safe" thanks to the emergency services.
They added: "There has been an incredible outpouring of love and support offered from everyone around us which is so appreciated, the Liberties community doing what they do best."

Gardai have confirmed to our sister publication Buzz.ie that nobody was injured and there were "no offences disclosed".
A Garda spokesperson said: “Gardai assisted Fire Services at the scene of a fire at a premises on Francis Street, Dublin 8 shortly after 7pm yesterday evening. There were no reports of any injuries. No offences disclosed."
The restaurant had only just moved premises from an old address on the same street. Variety Jones received its Michelin star in 2019 at a ceremony in London alongside 17 other Irish eateries.
