A man and woman were attacked after their car was involved in a crash with another at a shopping centre in North London.
The assault happened at the Arena Shopping Park in Finsbury Park on Monday, October 10, shortly after 2.30pm.
Two cars were involved in a crash and the occupants of one car - a man and a woman - allege that they were assaulted by occupants in the other car.
Their injuries, which were the result of punches and a head butt, were not life threatening, the Met said.
Police officers are appealing for witnesses and more information.
One man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. He has since been released on bail.
Detective Constable Morris of the North Area Command Unit said: “The shopping park was busy at the time of this incident and we know a number of people were in the vicinity when this incident took place.
“If you saw anything, or took images or video of the incident or the vehicles involved, then please get in contact.”
