Like many others, waste workers will be seeing in the new year with their loved ones. That means pickup days usually vary a little in this period, so it's worth checking ahead before taking your bins out.
As reported by the Scottish Daily Express, here's everything you need to know about bin collection times and alterations over the New Year's period for West Lothian.
Brown bin collections will be suspended until Sunday, January 8.
There will be no grey, blue or green bin collections on January 2 and 3.
Residents whose collections are due on these days should put them out the following Wednesday instead, January 4, and leave them out until they are emptied.
