England and Manchester City fans have come together to share their happiness that Phil Foden will start for the Three Lions against Wales tonight.
Following the goalless draw against the United States of America, England boss Gareth Southgate was heavily questioned for not bringing Foden off the bench to change the game. Instead, the Three Lions opted to bring on Jordan Henderson, Marcus Rashford and Jack Grealish in an attempt to swing the match in their favour.
However, England were left frustrated by a well organised USA who were difficult to break down and even had the best chances in Al Khor. Now, following pressure from pundits and fans alike, Foden has been given a chance to impress against the Welsh.

Southgate knows that a draw will be enough to qualify for the knockout stages of the World Cup. A victory will see the English top the group and face Senegal in Al Khor on Sunday.
Should they finish second after drawing with Wales or losing by a small margin, England will take on the Netherlands on Saturday in Al Rayyan. Rob Page's team can still qualify but they must win and hope Iran and USA draw in the other match.
After England fans discovered that Foden would be starting against Wales, many were quick to praise the decision. Here is what supporters have had to say on Twitter.
