Microsoft has revealed the final batch of Xbox Game Pass games releasing in April 2023, and the lineup includes five games releasing day one onto the service.
The Xbox Game Pass April 2023 lineup got off to a strong start this month with excellent indie titles like Loop Hero and Iron Brigade arriving on the service at the beginning of the month, as well as Minecraft Legends arriving later today. Things are going to get even better as Microsoft has just revealed the final batch of games joining the Xbox Game Pass lineup in April 2023.
Taking to the Xbox Wire Blog, Microsoft detailed eight new titles making their way to Xbox Game Pass from now until Tuesday, May 2. Included is five titles that will be launching on Xbox Game Pass on day one, including the aforementioned Minecraft Legends, and the upcoming game from Arkane, Redfall. Also arriving day one is the Pokemon-esque Cassette Beasts, a game in which you transform into a litany of monsters using your magic cassette tapes. If the cassette tapes didn't give it away Cassette Beasts boasts a retro-inspired aesthetic and brings some new innovations to the Pokemon-like genre, such as its monster fusion system.
Also available is the crossover fighting title BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle Special Edition, from the Guilty Gear Strive and Dragon Ball FighterZ developer Arc System Works. This title brings characters from BlazBlue, Under Night In-Birth, Arcana Heart, Senran Kagura, Persona 4 Arena, the hit animated series RWBY, and the uniquely titled Akatsuki Blitzkampf and it's EN-Eins Perfektewelt expansion together for 2v2 fighting game action. The Special Edition included in game pass comes with all previously released DLC content, so you'll be able to play as the best characters – Persona 4's Kanji and a literal tank – right away.

These titles should keep you busy for a while, with hefty RPGs like Cassette Beasts and Redfall, and simulator and crafting titles like Medieval Dynasty and Homestead Arcana. We expect the first batch of Xbox Game Pass May 2023 games will be announced on Tuesday, May 2
