Final score: Chiefs defeat Bills 32-29, advance to Super Bowl LIX

The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Buffalo Bills 32-29 to punch their ticket to Super Bowl LIX.

As back-to-back Super Bowl champions, Kansas City has the chance to complete the NFL’s first-ever three-peat, a feat rarely achieved in modern sports.

The Chiefs were led to victory by star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who threw for 245 yards and a touchdown on 26 total passing attempts. Mahomes, the reigning Super Bowl MVP, also rushed for two touchdowns, which proved to be decisive late in the game.

Defensively, Kansas City relied on linebacker Drue Tranquill and defensive back Chamarri Conner, who both registered nine combined tackles in the Chiefs’ winning effort.

Kansas City is set to face off against the Philadelphia Eagles on February 9 in a Super Bowl LVII rematch that is sure to make for must-watch television.

Stay tuned to see if the Chiefs can complete the first championship three-peat in NFL history next month.
