Final part of our round-up of finalists in the 2022 LeicestershireLive Business Awards

Today we conclude our round-up of all the finalists in the 2022 LeicestershireLive Business Awards –ahead of the awards night this Thursday.

Part three of our run-down includes the Entrepreneur of the Year, Young Businessperson and New Business categories, talking in businesses involved in providing oral health and wheelchair sports to individuals involved in online clothes shops, vehicle leasing and procuring healthcare supplies for global humanitarian aid and relief organisations.

Thursday’s black tie event – headline sponsored by the University of Leicester and corporate law firm Freeths – will celebrate the best the region’s business community has to offer. You can buy tickets by clicking here.

As well as honouring the county’s best companies, the awards are also a great reminder that Leicestershire is a great place to do business.

On top of that the awards evening will be a great opportunity for networking and socialising, uniting Leicestershire’s business community in a positive way post-pandemic and at a time when many businesses are having to deal with the impact of the world’s current economic hurdles.

The awards have been put together by the Leicester Mercury, LeicestershireLive and sister website BusinessLive and organised by the events team at their parent company – and Daily Mirror publisher – Reach Plc.

In all there are nine main business categories, as well as a Lifetime Achievement award for an individual who has made a lasting impact on the city and county, and an overall 2022 Business of the Year, picked from one of the winners of the main categories.

Thanks must go to the judges, made up of Shakespeare Martineau corporate partner Lisa Botterill, PPL PRS managing director Andrea Gray, Excello Law Midlands regional director Richard Osborn and Pick Everard managing partner Duncan Green – who were supported by our own business team. All are proud and important members of the local business community.

Tickets are on sale through the Business Awards website here

The night will be hosted by Ben Hanlin, star of the award-winning ITV2 shows ‘Tricked’ and “Ben Hanlin’s Live & Deadly: Drowned”.

Ben has performed his cheeky style of magic on stages across the world including London’s West End as part of “The Illusionists”. He even wowed Kim Kardashian at a party in the South of France with a swallowing trick which left her desperately trying to work out how he did it.
