After more than two years of waiting, Final Fantasy 7 Remake‘s story is finally continuing.
During the 25th anniversary stream on Thursday, Square Enix released a teaser for Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2, titled Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth set to launch next winter on the PlayStation 5. While not much is shown, fans will be treated to a new look at some environments and some very cryptic dialogue from fan favorites in Cloud, Tifa, and Aerith.

Not only that, it was also announced that this will be the second game of a trilogy, stirring up even more conversation about where things will go from here and the fate of some beloved characters.
Things are looking up for the Final Fantasy brand overall, as between the new Crisis Core remaster and Final Fantasy 16, fans of the long-running video game series have a lot to look forward to within the next two years.
