Move over Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime - there’s a new streaming service in town and certain Sky customers can get it completely free with particular Sky packages. The brand new streaming service, from Paramount , is already proving popular on social media for streaming exclusives like Halo, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and Yellowstone.
Showcasing everything from blockbuster movies to new originals and iconic shows, Paramount+ is available to Sky TV customers with Sky Cinema at no extra cost.
Paramount+ usually costs £6.99 a month, so it will save customers £83.88 a year.

Sky customers can upgrade to Sky Cinema from £12 a month , which now includes Paramount+. Subscribers with Sky Glass, Sky Stream or Sky Q can use the Paramount+ app on their TV and other devices, while Sky+ customers can watch TV shows and movies from Paramount+ on their Sky box.
The streaming service has been available for a number of years in the USA, and some viewers have been able to access it via a VPN - but it’s otherwise been inaccessible to UK film buffs.
It offers some of the biggest movie franchises and award-winning classics, from Mission Impossible to Transformers, with more Hollywood blockbusters throughout the rest of 2022. One of the main draws is the new Halo series, based on the massively popular Xbox game franchise, following Master Chief in his quest against The Covenant.
Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone, starring Kevin Costner, is also available on the app, which follows a family of modern-day ranchers in the scenic Yellowstone National Park.
As well as new originals and exclusive series such as Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and The First Lady, there’s also a huge variety of iconic shows like South Park and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
For those who want to access Paramount+ without a Sky package , you can sign up just like with any other streaming service. The cost of Paramount Plus is coming in at the competitive price of £6.99 per month, or £69.90 per year. There is also a seven-day free trial for new subscribers.
The package will include all the content available, so there is no need to worry about tiered packages like other subscription services.
