Fikayo Tomori sounds "angry" Chelsea warning after AC Milan make statement

Fikayo Tomori has declared AC Milan will be out to prove a point after being left “angry” by their defeat at Stamford Bridge.

Milan’s former Chelsea defender Tomori had a night to forget on his return to his former club last week as the Italian champions suffered a 3-0 defeat. However, Milan returned to winning ways at the weekend with a morale-boosting, statement victory over Juventus at San Siro.

Tomori scored on the stroke of half-time and Brahim Diaz doubled the advantage as Milan stayed within touching distance of the top four in Serie A following a mixed start to the domestic season. And turning his attention towards Tuesday's clash with the Blues, Tomori said the Rossoneri will be out to show what they can do in the return game against his old club.

Tomori said: "I was angry and I wanted to give everything on the pitch. I wanted to cancel the performance against Chelsea and I expressed how I felt.

"We knew we didn't play well against Chelsea and we didn't have our performance we are used to - we didn't show what we could show. I always do my best in all matches.

"Last week, I didn't succeed but football always gives you a second chance that we want to make the most of. We will show that we can do much better. We don't need motivation but we will push even harder.

"Milan are a great club and I am proud to be here. We are a strong team and we know we can raise the level with the collective. When the coach communicates the team, we go out on the pitch to give everything and win the game."
