Fifty Palestinian Children To Leave Gaza For Medical Treatment

Palestinian children wounded in Israeli strikes wait to receive treatment at Nasser hospital in Khan Younis

According to an official from Gaza's ministry of health, fifty sick and injured Palestinian children are scheduled to leave Gaza for treatment on Saturday. Dr. Munir Al-Barash, the ministry's director general, confirmed that these children have been approved to depart from Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis and Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza city. Among the conditions being treated are cancer and blood diseases.

Dr. Al-Barash mentioned that a total of 400 names of sick children were submitted to the World Health Organization for consideration. This initiative to evacuate injured and sick Palestinians for urgent medical care is part of the broader hostage and ceasefire agreement that was reached last month.
