The Georgia Bulldogs have seen a wave of the talented defensive linemen enter the 2025 NFL draft, and Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins just became the fifth. He announced his decision to declare for the draft on social media.
Ingram-Dawkins was a five-star recruit in high school before enrolling with the Bulldogs in 2020. Starting in 2022, he earned significant snaps as a rotation edge rusher and defensive end, sometimes even starting. In his career, he racked up 39 tackles, three passes deflected, four sacks and two forced fumbles. His biggest game was against Kentucky in 2024, when he had a sack and five pressures.
Ingram-Dawkins, who also accepted an invitation to the Senior Bowl, is not ranked among Pro Football Focus’ top 275 NFL draft prospects, so his decision comes as a bit of a surprise.
Georgia has had three other defensive linemen enter the NFL draft: Nazir Stackhouse, Mykel Williams and Warren Brinson. Senior Chaz Chambliss is out of eligibility, so it is safe to assume he’ll enter the draft.
That doesn’t include the defensive front transfer portal losses the Bulldogs have suffered. Outside linebacker Damon Wilson II, outside linebacker Sam M’Pemba, and defensive tackle Jamaal Jarrett have been lost to the transfer portal. Safe to say, Georgia could be relying heavily on its talented incoming recruits if it doesn’t obtain edge rushers and defensive linemen in the transfer portal.
Georgia does return veteran defensive lineman Christen Miller for the 2025 season.
