Either Mohamed Salah, Lionel Messi or Robert Lewandowski will be crowned FIFA's The Best men's player 2021 on Monday evening.
The Ballon d'Or is seen as the award that all footballers aspire to win, but FIFA's The Best is a close second as it enters its sixth year.
Liverpool's Salah has been named alongside the Ballon d'Or's 2021 top two in the three-man shortlist.
The results will be announced on Monday evening when the awards show kicks off in Zurich at 5.30pm.
The awards is voted for by captains and managers of national teams along with a nominated journalist from each country.
Lewandowski and Messi are the last two winners of the award and if Salah wins, he would become the first African player to do so.
The Egyptian would be a worthy winner after reaching form this season that has seen him named the best player in the world by many.
His 16 Premier League goals has him clear at the top of the Golden Boot standings by some way.
