Sunderland and Alex Neil ensured promotion back to the second tier this weekend, as the Black Cats ran out 2-0 winners over Wycombe Wanderers at Wembley.
After three valiant attempts prior to the 21/22 campaign, goals from Elliot Embleton and Ross Stewart means they will play in the second tier once more next season.
Finishing the regular season in fifth position, a 2-1 aggregate win over Sheffield Wednesday ensured yet another visit to the capital, as 46,000 boisterous fans descended on London over the weekend.

In what made for a terrific atmosphere throughout the contest, over 72,000 packed into the home of the Three Lions, with Neil's side boasting almost 2/3rd's of the total following.
And with emotions at an all time high following the 90 minutes, Elvis Presley's famous song 'Can't Help Falling In Love' could be heard belting around the stadium, as the party could well and truly get underway.
A tradition at the Stadium of the Light, there was no better place for the club's anthem to be heard, as the team were galvanised on their way to victory.
Having endured a terrific 16-game unbeaten run on the road to play-off success, much has been made of Neil's future with the club, as he spoke following his team's subsequent triumph.
Neil said: “I want to be at Sunderland. I want to be here, I want to take it forward, and there’s massive scope still for us to go. But what you need to understand is that you’re going to a new level. I want the tools to do the job."
Its hard to imagine how the 40-year-old wont be offered an extension of his current 12-month rolling contract, as the Black Cats look forward to life once more in the Championship.
