The third Title Update of FIFA 23 is now live, with the highly-anticipated FIFA World Cup 2022 game mode now available to play.
EA Sports revealed everything about the 2022 World Cup mode in FIFA 23 via a deep dive trailer at the beginning of November, and players can now access the new content. In the third title update of FIFA 23, the World Cup game mode has now been released and made available to play, with World Cup-themed content coming to Ultimate Team on Friday, November 11, 2022.
And with the World Cup mode now live, EA has removed the generic Brazil national team from the game, updating it with the authentic Brazil squad to be used in the World Cup game mode. The third title update is available to download now on PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox Series X|S, PC and Stadia.

General, Audio, and Visual
Made the following changes:
- Added the FIFA World Cup 2022 experience to FIFA 23. To learn more about the FIFA World Cup 2022 experience, check out EA Sports' Pitch Notes.
- Removed the previously existing Brazil team from Kick Off, Tournaments, Online Friendlies, and Online Seasons. The Brazil national team, featuring players competing in the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2022, can be used in the FIFA World Cup 2022 experience.
- Updated some commentary lines and celebrations.
Addressed the following issues:
- In some cases, Training Center Focus Areas did not update to take into account the selected Controller Settings preset.
- Addressed multiple stability issues that could occur.
