Millions of football fans have rejoiced this Friday, as FIFA 23 finally landed on to consoles across the planet.
The latest edition of the popular game will be the last iteration of the game - EA Sports were involved in a license dispute with FIFA, meaning that in 2024, it will become EA Sports FC.
But the newest release is being hailed already as the best version of the game for a number of years.

From Manchester United all the way down to AFC Richmond (yes, Ted Lasso is in FIFA), players have started to take their clubs to glory already.
That includes on Ultimate Team, which is the most competitive section in the sports game.
This is where you can build your dream team of stars. Want to see Roy Keane deliver a through ball to Pele? How about your goal being protected by Oliver Kahn? You can do it in Ultimate Team.
Naturally, this can be lead to some people trying to cheat the system - and this is why EA have now stepped to warn players against trying some tricks.
In a statement, they said: "At EA, we believe in the power of positive play. Being part of a gaming community should be positive, fun, fair, and safe for all.
"We have our rules in place because we want FIFA to be a fair, fun, secure experience.
"If you break the rules, we reserve the right to: Remove your account from the Leaderboards, remove your FUT Coins, delete your FUT Club, temporarily or permanently ban your account from FIFA online play, which means you lose access to every mode where you connect to our servers.
"We can ban your account from your current FIFA game, ban your account from all FIFA games or ban you from all EA games"
These are the golden rules you have to follow - and why EA want you to do so.
Don't distribute Coins
"Coin distribution inflates the FIFA economy. That means disrupting the safe buying and selling environment that legitimate players are trying to use to get the players they need for their Ultimate Team." EA say.
You also can't buy coins from a third-party site.
Don't connect to EA Servers using anything other than EA Web or Companion apps or an unmodified platform
You can only access FIFA, FIFA Ultimate Team, and our FIFA servers using an official version of EA SPORTS FIFA, otherwise it breaks the rules.
"An official version is one that you bought from us or an authorized retailer. You must also use either an unmodified platform or the official FUT Web and FUT Companion Apps to avoid breaking our rules." EA say.
Don't use auto-buyers
If you use any sort of in-game bots, like auto-buyers, so you can earn Coins fast and illegitimately, that’s breaking the rules.
Making transactions outside of in-game, the Companion App, or the Web App or playing in an unauthorized way that gives you an unfair advantage hurts the experience for you and other players.
Don't promote Coin buying and selling
Promoting the sale or purchase of Coins anywhere within our games or forums breaks EA's rules. Coin distribution breaks also breaks the rules.
Don't farm Coins
Coin farming is when you get Coins fast and illegitimately, either by using bots in the FUT Transfer Market or by tricking the game into thinking you’re playing matches when you aren’t.
When you store a lot of Coins in your account, that’s totally cool, as long as you’re earning those Coins the right way in-game. Using any sort of bot or disconnection methods in-game, that’s breaking the rules.
Don't make false claims
Making a false claim to EA Advisors or any other EA representative is against gameplay rules, and it’s not cool. Breaking the rules makes it hard to provide a fun, safe, and secure environment for you and all players.
Don't hack other players' accounts
It might seem like a no-brainer, but accessing another player’s account is totally and completely against the rules.
Don't cheat in-game
Cheating can include, but isn’t limited to, using external tools, performing in-game exploits, abusing glitches or bugs, performing, using, buying, or selling match collusion, matchmaking manipulation, or win manipulation services. In-game cheating is not fair play and hurts the experience for the players you are playing against.
