The FIFA 23 Storyline Objectives have been refreshed for FUT Season 7, with some impressive free rewards included across the 40 levels.
For years, Storyline Objectives have been a regular feature in Ultimate Team, but the underwhelming rewards on offer have never made the grind to the top level worth it in past FIFA titles. EA opted to shake things up in FIFA 23 Season 6 though, with the usual rewards on offer as part of Swaps events instead included in the Storyline Objectives.
So rather than earning Swaps tokens to submit into SBCs, players had to complete Objectives to earn XP and earn Storyline Objective rewards along the way. In Season 6, the Storyline rewards included a host of incredible TOTS items and Packs, with players who reached Level 30 by earning 100,000XP being offered the options of an 84+ x30 Players Pack, FUT Birthday Icon Wayne Rooney (92 OVR) or 90+ Premier League/La Liga/Ligue 1 TOTS Player Pick.
The Season 7 Storyline Objectives will be available in FUT 23 over the next six weeks, with an extra 10 levels being added, taking the total amount of levels to 40. But, 40,000 XP is needed to reach the top level rather than the 100,000 XP needed to reach the same stage in Season 6.
FIFA 23 Season 7 Storyline Objective with confirmed Shapeshifters rewards
Season 7 Storyline Objectives include the first Shapeshifters items released in FIFA 23, with a 92-rated Thiago Silva and 97-rated Toni Kroos both available at Level 10 and Level 30 respectively. Shapeshifters will be the next promo released following the Ultimate TOTS and TOTS Award Winners release.
With some Objectives already live, it appears that the XP available to earn is in smaller quantities, hence Level 40 in Season 7 requiring 60,000 XP less than Level 30 in Season 6. For just 5,000 XP (Level 5), players can claim an 84+ x5 Pack or a TOTS Pack, which is amazing value.
Level 40 has the rewards that require the most XP, with players given the option of Trophy Titans Alessandro Del Piero (95 OVR), an 85+ x25 Pack or a 90+ Prime, TOTY, FUT Birthday or Trophy Titan Icon Player Pick (1 of 4).
