FIFA 23 RTTF (Road to the Final) upgrade tracker as final upgrades begin

With the 2022/23 Champions League, Europa League and Europa Conference League finals underway, RTTF (Road to the Final) player items are being upgraded in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team.

After replacing the Future Stars promo in FIFA 23, the RTTF promo consisted of live player items from all three European cup competitions, with each player given the opportunity to upgrade based on their club's performances. The likes of Roberto Firmino, Leon Goretzka and Gabriel Martinelli were some of the standout players when released, but some early exits has seen other players earn big upgrades so far.

26 RTTF players were released, with 14 from the Champions League, 10 from the Europa League and two from the Europa Conference League. All RTTF player items have five possible upgrade opportunities available, though with the Champions League containing one less knockout round, their upgrade system is slightly different.

Here's how RTTF players could upgrade over the course of the European competitions:

Here's how the upgrades will work for each competition:

  • Win 1st knockout game after campaign launch (UCL) or qualify for Round of 16 (UEL/UECL) - +1 in-form upgrade
  • Quality for Quarter-Finals - +1 in-form upgrade
  • Qualify for Semi-Finals - +1 in-form upgrade and three new traits
  • Qualify for Final - 5-star weak foot upgrade

  • Win Final - +1 in-form upgrade and 5-star skill moves upgrade

There's a big possibility for some incredible FUT cards to be created after a few upgrades, with Real Madrid's Gareth Bale reaching a 95 overall as Los Blancos lifted the Champions League trophy during the FIFA 22 RTTF promo. Below is a detailed FIFA 23 RTTF (Road to the Final) upgrade tracker.
