FIFA 23 Road to the Knockouts (RTTK) latest leaks and predictions

The second promo of FIFA 23 is upon us, with the Road to the Knockouts (RTTK) event set to be released into Ultimate Team on Friday.

With such a hectic calendar ahead, the FIFA 23 Ones to Watch promo was shortened from two weeks to one week, leaving space for a new promo to be released into FUT this week, the RTTK. The RTTK, or Road to the Knockouts, FUT promo is based around the UEFA Champions League, Europa League and Conference League, with players involved given upgrades to their special items if their team advance through the group stages or wins a certain amount of games.

EA Sports has confirmed via a new FUT loading screen that the FIFA 23 Road to the Knockouts (RTTK) promo will begin on Friday, October 7, 2022 at 18:00 PM BST, with the loading screen also revealing a new RTTK card design. And, ahead of the promo's release, some social media content creators have apparently 'leaked' players who are set to feature.

So which players could feature in the upcoming FIFA 23 Road to the Knockouts (RTTK) promo? How do the upgrades work, what is the card design, who has been leaked, and is there a token swaps event? Let's take a look.

FIFA 23 Road to the Knockouts (RTTK) promo upgrade info/card design

There has yet to be any information about how these cards will upgrade, but we can expect it to be very similar to FIFA 22. In the last FIFA title, the special dynamic items were upgraded once their team qualified for the knockout stage of the competition they were involved in.

And, they also upgrade again if their team registered three wins in their next four group stage matches from when they were released. Above is also the confirmed card design for the Champions League RTTK player items which can be seen on the FUT 23 loading screen.

FIFA 23 Road to the Knockouts (RTTK) promo token swaps event

In FIFA 22, EA released token swaps events alongside certain promos in Ultimate Team, offering players the chance to earn better rewards during the promo. Players could earn tokens for completing SBC's Objectives, opening packs and even just logging into FUT.
