The FIFA 23 reveal trailer was released yesterday, finally giving football fans a first look into the upcoming game.

The game’s cover stars are Chelsea forward, Sam Kerr, and Paris Saint-Germain forward, Kylian Mbappé.

Kerr’s appearance is significant, as it is the first time a woman has been featured on the cover of a FIFA game—and its appropriate, too, given that FIFA 23 will include club sides from women’s football for the first time.

The game is undergoing other major changes too. Going forward, the game will be called EA Sports FC, as EA Sports’ partnership with FIFA is coming to an end.

The announcement on July 20 finally revealed all the key details fans have been waiting for—so now all there’s left to do is get excited, and count down the days until its release.

Find out what we know about FIFA 23 below.

EA will released the FIFA 23 reveal trailer on YouTube at 5pm on July 20.

FIFA 23 release date UK speculation

EA Sports has revealed that FIFA 23 will be released on September 30 for most people, but early access for the Ultimate Edition will begin three days earlier.

FIFA 22 was released on October 1, 2021, while FIFA 21 was released on October 9, 2020. FIFA games have also been released in late September, so a late September to early October was likely.

Is FIFA 23 cross platform?

EA has confirmed that FIFA 23 will be cross platform on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, as well as PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The cross-play compatibility may not come have beena surprise, as the FIFA 22 crossplay test had people thinking EA was trialling crossplay ahead of FIFA 23’s launch.

Only certain game modes were included in the FIFA 22 test, however, so it may be a similar situation for FIFA 23.

FIFA 23 Standard and Ultimate edition prices

The FIFA 23 Standard Edition will cost £59.99 on PC, but £69.99 on PlayStation and Xbox, while FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition will cost £79.99 on PC and £89.99 on PlayStation and Xbox.
