The release date for FIFA 23 has officially been confirmed by EA Sports, with early access and pre-order bonuses also being revealed.
In what will be EA 's final FIFA-branded football title, EA are claiming that FIFA 23 will be one of the most realistic and exciting FIFA games to date, with the official trailer teasing some of the new features set to be included in FIFA 23. The trailer highlighted a few details of what fans can expect, including Hypermotion 2 and FIFA World Cup modes for the men's and women's.
As well as revealing new features in FIFA 23 and the game's official release date, EA has followed the trailer up by opening up pre-orders, with players able to pre-order both the Standard and Ultimate Edition of the game. The FIFA 23 cover stars were unveiled earlier this week by EA, with Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe and Chelsea Women's Sam Kerr the worldwide faces of FIFA 23.
With the release date now confirmed, it means we now know what dates players with early access can also start playing the new game. Let's take a look!
FIFA 23 release date confirmed with early access date
FIFA 23 will be officially released in the UK and worldwide on Friday, September 30, 2022 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PC, Stadia, PS4, and Xbox One. Like past FIFA releases, EA will be releasing the game on the final Friday in September.
And players who pre-order the Ultimate Edition of FIFA 23 will be given early access to the game. If you pre-order the Ultimate Edition of FIFA 23, you will be able to start playing on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, giving you three days early access to the game.
Pre-ordering the Ultimate Edition will give you access to other bonuses including 4,600 FIFA Points to spend in the FUT Store, One Untradeable FIFA World Cup FUT Heroes player, One Untradeable FUT Ones to Watch player and more. EA Play Pro members can play FIFA 23 from September 27, 2022, even if they've only pre-ordered the Standard Edition, giving them three days early access also.
