EA Sports has confirmed the 23 highest-rated players on FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, with five players sharing top spot this year.
The FIFA 23 rating rollout has officially started with the reveal of the 23 highest-rated players in FUT 23. The Premier League dominates the list with 11 of the 23 players currently playing in England, with one Premier League player confirmed as the joint highest-rated, sharing top spot with four other players.
For the first time in over a decade, neither Lionel Messi nor Cristiano Ronaldo solely occupies the number one spot, with Messi dropping from 93 to 91 overall, and Ronaldo being downgraded to 90 rated, his lowest rating since FIFA 11.
Paris Saint-Germain have the most individual players in the top 23 list, with four of their stars featuring, whilst Man City, Bayern Munich and Liverpool boast three players in the list. FIFA 23 will be released worldwide on Friday, September 30, 2022.

Man City's Kevin De Bruyne, PSG's Messi and Mbappe, Barcelona's Robert Lewandowski and Real Madrid's Karim Benzema are all rated 91 overall on FIFA 23, the joint highest-rated players in the game. De Bruyne and Mbappe remain 91 rated, Benzema increased by two overall ratings whilst Messi dropped by two, and Lewandowski surprisingly was downgraded from 92 to 91 overall.

Liverpool duo Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk both increased from 89 rated to 90, whilst Alisson and ex-Liverpool forward Sadio Mane remain at 89. Ronaldo dropped to 90 overall and is joined in the top 23 by fellow United star Casemiro, whilst Spurs duo Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son, Chelsea's N'Golo Kante and Manchester City duo Ederson and Erling Haaland make up the rest of the Premier League players.
Goalkeepers Manuel Neuer and Thibaut Courtois are both rated 90 overall after impressive seasons, whilst Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak has been decreased from 91 to 89 overall. Neuer's Bayern and German teammate Joshua Kimmich remains at 89 overall whilst Real Madrid's Toni Kroos remains at 88, PSG forward Neymar Jr has dropped from 91 to 89, and Brazilian counterpart Marquinhos has jumped from 87 to 88 rated.
