Some FIFA 23 players have been awarded tradable Red FUT Champions TOTS rewards in Ultimate Team today, with more compensation expected to be sent out by EA.
The TOTS promo will come to an end in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team later today, but the promo has been a mess from EA 's perspective, with countless errors over the last few weeks being made by the Publisher in FUT. Lots of compensation has been sent out to FUT players over the course of the TOTS promo, and after EA's latest error, more TOTS compensation is set to be handed out.
The newest FUT Champions Finals event began today, with players trying their best to win as many of their 20 allocated games to try and earn some incredible TOTS rewards. With the Ultimate TOTS currently live in FUT, EA included EFIGS (English, French, Italian, German, Spanish) TOTS Player Picks as part of the rewards.
These Red Player Packs are meant to be untradeable and can only be earned by competing in FUT Champions, but it appears that players are receiving Red FUT Champions TOTS items that are tradable, with the FUT Transfer Market now flooded with these cards.
FIFA 23 Red FUT Champions TOTS rewards mistake – more compensation on the way?
EA has addressed the issue on its @EAFIFADirect Twitter account, claiming that compensation will be awarded to impacted players soon.
"We have addressed an issue with FUT Champions Rewards where 91+ EFIGS 3 TOTS PLAYERS and 91+ EFIGS/MINOR LEAGUE TOTS 3 PLAYERS packs included incorrect rewards and have need removed from the game. Impacted players will receive corrected rewards in-game in the coming days."
According to EA, the 91+ EFIGS 3 TOTS Players Pack and the 91+ EFIGS/Minor League TOTS 3 Players Pack are where the Tradable TOTS items were appearing, but they have now resolved the issue. This doesn't fix everything though, with all the Tradable Red TOTS items set to remain in FUT 23 indefinitely.
EA made another huge TOTS error just a few days ago when they were forced to remove the Guaranteed TOTS/TOTS Moment SBC due to TOTS Moments not appearing in the Pack, meaning more compensation was to be handed out. With EA Sports FC the next football game set to be released by EA, they aren't doing themselves any favours with the ridiculous amount of errors happening on the regular over the last few weeks.
The TOTS promo will conclude tonight at 5.59pm BST / 12.59pm EDT / 9.59am PDT, with the highly-anticipated Shapeshifters promo replacing TOTS today at 6pm BST / 1pm EDT / 10am PDT. The Shapeshifters promo includes some of the best FUT cards, with leaks suggesting the FIFA 23 Shapeshifters will also have a new chemistry system.
