All of the FIFA 23 Fantasy FUT players have completed their upgrades, with just one player earning all four upgrades possible.
One of the favourite promos in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team amongst the FUT community, the Fantasy FUT promo consisted of live player items that upgraded based on their individual and team performances over a certain time period. A large amount of amazing players were released in the Fantasy FUT Team 1 and Team 2 squads, including Fantasy FUT Heroes, with the likes of David Ginola, Antonio Di Natale, Adebi Pele and Harry Kewell all included.
After upgrades, all of these cards had the potential to be some of the best in the game. But, with all upgrades having now been completed, just one player has earned all the upgrades available.
Normal Fantasy FUT player items had four upgrade opportunities based on team and individual performances, whilst Fantasy FUT Heroes were eligible for two of the four possible upgrades due to them not being able to make appearances or be involved in goals or clean sheets. Players were able to earn all their upgrades across the first six domestic league games after March 17.
Here are the four upgrades that were available and how each Fantasy FUT player item could claim them:
- +1 Upgrade (Fantasy FUT players and Heroes): One win in the next six domestic league games
- +1 Upgrade (Fantasy FUT players): Three appearances in the next six domestic league games
- +1 Upgrade (Fantasy FUT players): Two goals or assists (Attackers/Midfielders) or two clean sheets (Defenders/Goalkeepers) in the next six domestic league games
- +1 Upgrade and three new traits ( Fantasy FUT players and Heroes): Avoid defeat in the next six domestic league games
FIFA 23 Fantasy FUT upgrade tracker
Below is a tracker for every Fantasy FUT player in FIFA 23, with one tracker for attackers and midfielders, and another for defenders and goalkeepers. The tracker includes their club, base rating, current rating, win counter, appearance counter, goal, assist or clean sheet counter and if they've avoided defeat.
Upgrades began on Friday, March 17, with the final set of upgrades now live in FUT. This tracker was updated for the final time on Monday, May 15, 2023. Sections highlighted green mean the player has completed this upgrade and sections highlighted in red mean an upgrade is no longer possible.

Only one player was able to earn all four upgrades in the six games, Marseille's Alexis Sanchez. The Chilean increased from 90 to 94 overall, whilst FUT Heroes Abedi Pele and Jean-Pierre Papin both earned the two upgrades available to them, the only Heroes to do so.
