Players can now play FIFA 23 through EA Play's early access 10-hour trial, with both Xbox and Playstation users able to access.
It was confirmed previously that EA Play subscribers will be able to access a 10-hour free trial of FIFA 23 on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, allowing subscribers early access to the full game. But, as of 17:00 BST on Monday, September 26, 2022, players on PlayStation and Xbox have discovered that they are able to access the trial now, and play FIFA 23 earlier than expected.
This isn't the first time that players have found a way to access FIFA 23 early. Using the New Zealand trick, players who pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition of FIFA 23 are currently able to access FIFA 23 on Xbox a day early by changing their console location to New Zealand.
And now, it appears that EA Play members on both Playstation and Xbox are able to access their FIFA 23 10-hour trial a day early. To access the trial, you must be an EA Play subscriber. The EA Play subscription service costs £3.99 per month (or £19.99 annually) for Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC.
Once you have become an EA Play Member, with the subscription available to buy through the PlayStation and Xbox Store, players must download the FIFA 23 Trial. Here's how to download the FIFA 23 Trial.
1) Use your EA Play account
2) Go to your console’s store or library and search for FIFA 23
3) Select one of the editions and then select ‘Trial’.
Once downloaded, players must click the '...' icon on FIFA 23 and select 'View Product'. Once selected, players will be given the option to 'Play Game', which will start your EA Play 10-hour trial. Many users on Twitter, including content creator @NepentheZ, have shared the method online with successful results.
At first, only PlayStation users could access the EA Play 10-hour trial early, but it now appears that Xbox users have also been granted access to the EA Play 10-hour trial.
FIFA 23 will be released on Friday, September 30, 2022 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PC, Stadia, PS4, and Xbox One. Players who pre-order the Ultimate Edition of FIFA 23 or are subscribed to EA Play will be given early access to the game, allowing players access to the game on Tuesday, September 27, 2022.
FIFA 23 is developed by EA Vancouver and EA Romania and will be available worldwide on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Stadia, PS4, and Xbox One on September 30. Early access for FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition begins on September 27, 2022.
