The FIFA 23 Closed Beta release date has apparently been leaked on social media as players look to get their hands on FIFA 23 early.
EA Sports has revealed the first few bits of information regarding FIFA 23, with the official release date, gameplay information and new features having all been unveiled already. The release date for FIFA 23 has been confirmed for Friday, September 30, 2022, but the Closed Beta will allow a handful of lucky players to access the game before anyone else.
The FIFA 23 Closed Beta will allow some players on Xbox and PlayStation to get early access to the game and provide feedback and suggestions to EA before the game's official release. This allows EA to hopefully sort out any issues or problems in the game before its worldwide release at the end of September.

Based on past FIFA titles, the Closed Beta tends to become available to players around August, with access codes sent out about two weeks before. And, according to leaks on social media, FIFA 23 will follow the same trend.
According to a selection of reliable FIFA Twitter accounts including @DonkTrading, the FIFA 23 Closed Beta has now been added to the PlayStation and Xbox database and will be released on Sunday, August 11, 2022, with the access codes being sent out sometime between Monday, August 1, 2022, and Sunday, August 7, 2022.
Based on previous Closed Beta releases, there are two sets of Beta Codes that are sent out, with the second wave coming around a week or so after the first. So, don't worry too much if you don't get a code straight away, because you may be accepted for the second batch.
To give yourself the best chance of getting a code to access the Closed Beta, there are some steps you need to follow. The first and most important step is to give EA Sports consent to contact you via email, otherwise, they will not be able to send you a code.
If you haven't already given them consent or are not sure if you have, you can find this option within the Email Preferences tab in your EA Account settings on EA.com. Make sure you tick the box which allows EA to email you about products, news, events and promotions.
When on that tab, there will be a preferred games section. Make sure that you've selected FIFA titles and you've selected your preferred platform at the bottom, then click update. You must also make sure that your Xbox Live or PSN account is linked to your EA Sports account. This can be found in the Connections tab in your EA Account Settings.
But, even if you were to complete all these steps, there are some requirements that means only certain people can receive an invite. The requirements are as followed:
- Players must be at least 18 years old
- Your Xbox/PS account must be from the UK or North America
- You must have a working internet connection
- You need an active subscription to either Xbox Live Gold or PS Plus
The Closed Beta is only available in English, meaning only players from the UK and North America can receive invites. Only invited players can access FIFA 23 early, and your code cannot be shared, so remember that if you're offered a beta code for a fee, it's a scam.
