After an incredible season with Manchester United throughout the 2020/21 campaign, Bruno Fernandes performances have been reflected into his FIFA 22 player rating, with Fernandes getting a +1 upgrade to his card, making him 88 rated overall.
Fernandes' FIFA 22 rating was revealed when EA Sports released the FIFA 22 highest-rated Premier League XI, where Fernandes was joined by fellow United teammate and the joint highest-rated Premier League player, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Fernandes' FIFA 22 rating is based on his performances from the 2020/21 season, where the Portuguese midfielder was influential in United claiming second place in the league and reaching the UEFA Europa League final.
Fernandes scored 18 goals and grabbed 12 assists in the Premier League alone last season, the second-best goal contribution record in the league behind Harry Kane.
The Portuguese international also scored four goals in the Champions League before United dropped into the Europa League where he tallied five goals and four assists.
So, how does Fernandes compare to his FIFA 21 card? And what are his stats like in FIFA 22? Let's take a look.
Bruno Fernandes in FIFA 22

Bruno Fernandes' +1 on his overall takes his card to 88 rated in FIFA 22, making home the second-highest rated player at United.
The 27-year-old could count himself extremely unlucky to only receive a +1 upgrade after his first full season in the league, with the likes of Spurs' Heung-Min Son, Liverpool's Sadio Mane and Chelsea's N'golo Kante all rated higher than Fernandes.
So a very good card overall, but how does it compare to his FIFA 21 rating?

Fernandes received downgrades to his pace (-2) and his dribbling (-1), however, his shooting saw an increase of +3, making him one of the best finishers in the league.
The Portugal international also saw an increase in his passing (+1), defending (+2) and physical (+2), which truly reflects the type of performances he put in for United last season as he came more accustomed to the physicality of the English game.
