Since the Headliners promo arrived in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team in December 2021, 22 upgrades have already been handed out.
The Headliners promo was released in FIFA 22 on December 31, 2021, awarding some of the most in-form players at that time with special dynamic player items which were permanently upgraded on release, but can also receive upgrades throughout the season based on individual and team performances. In total, 38 players were given Headliners player items during the promo.
Many players have received a +1 upgrade due to their team winning four consecutive league games in recent weeks, but the latest players to receive an upgrade is Inter Milan's Nicolo Barella, upgrading to 90 rated overall after Inter beat AS Roma 3-1 to claim their fourth consecutive league win.

Upgrades to a Headliners player item can be acquired in two ways. If a player's team win four consecutive games, they will receive a plus one upgrade to their rating along with attribute upgrades. This is a one time upgrade. If any players in the Headliners promo feature in a TOTW squad or receive a MOTM card, this will also give them a plus one upgrade to their rating along with attribute upgrades, and there's no limit on how many times the live item can upgrade through TOTW or MOTM inclusions.
