Ahead of the release of FIFA 21, EA have today confirmed that there will be updates coming to one of the most-loved game modes within the FIFA gaming franchise, with the Pro Clubs game mode set to get some new features in FIFA 21.
We've already had information about what fans can expect for FIFA 21 Ultimate Team and FIFA 21 gameplay, but Pro Clubs is a game mode which is hugely popular with the FIFA community and updates are needed, particularly with the game mode being largely left the same for the last few years.
But now Pro Clubs fans will have some new features to look forward to, with AI Player Customisation, a tactics overhaul and more. Here are the latest updates to the Pro Clubs game mode for FIFA 21 as per the official EA SPORTS FIFA website.

FIFA 21 Pro Clubs - AI Player Customisation
For the first time ever, players will now be able to individually edit all 20+ AI players in their club, customising their entire squad however they like. FIFA 21 Pro Clubs players will be able to change the name, kit number, age, nationality, preferred foot, look, accessories and more of every single AI player.
Here are all the details as per the official EA SPORTS FIFA website..
New this year is the ability for Club Managers to customise the AI Players in their Club. You'll find a new tile under the 'manage' section in Pro Clubs, from which managers will be able to customise the visual appearance, name and kit of the 20+ AI Players on their team.

A club will have AI players to customise in each position for all formations that can be found in the game. All club members will have access to the tile, and are able to view all of the AI players being customised, but only club managers will be able to edit an AI Player.
Personalise your own team and work together with your club mates on the the pitch to showcase your customised avatars. Managers can customise the following:
- Name (First/Last/Known As/Commentary/Kit Name)
- Kit Number
- Birth (Date/Nationality/Region)
- Preferred foot
- Face
- Skin Tone
- Eyes
- Brows
- Nose
- Mouth
- Ears
- Hair
- Facial Hair
- Kit Fit
- Accessories (Gloves, Boots, Wristbands, Sock Tape)
- Animations (Running Style, Celebrations)
FIFA 21 Pro Clubs - Tactics
Also new for this year, EA have today confirmed that you can customise five preset tactics for the first time in FIFA 21 Pro Clubs, exactly like you would in Ultimate Team. With Pro Clubs players now given the flexibility of changing formation, tactics and more throughout a game.
Here are all the details as per the official EA SPORTS FIFA website..
Club Managers can now customise up to five preset tactics which can be found in another new tile under the ‘Manage’ section in Pro Clubs. Each preset tactic can have all five game plans customised (Ultra Defensive, Defensive, Balanced, Attacking, Ultra Attacking). A Club Manager can select 1 of the 5 tactics from the tactics page to begin customisation.
Select and customise each game plan to fit your team’s custom or unique play style. The newly customised AI Players will also appear on the tactic menus. Club Managers can provide instructions to their AI Players to ensure they match your play style.
Once customised in the Tactics menu tile located in the Manage tab, you can go to the Pro Clubs Match Lobby and select one of the 5 new presets that have just been created.
This will allow you to load the customised Tactic Presets to play with different friends or vary strategies based on which club members are available to play. Take to the pitch and try out your newly defined tactics with your customised AI Players and fellow club mates. If you just want to hop into a quick Pro Clubs match, and only want to edit the formation, you’ll still have the ability to customise your Club’s formation and not the tactics.
Apparently, there are more new features set to be confirmed for Pro Clubs in FIFA 21, so stay tuned!
