EA have confirmed a brand new release time for the FUT Team of the Week promo for FIFA 21.
The FUT TOTW promo is a weekly release that features the best performing players from around the world over the previous seven days, with the selected TOTW players given an in-form, a new upgraded card which features upgraded attributes, upgraded overall rating, dynamic image and a black card design.
Players can be included in the TOTW promo for strong performances, goals, assists, clean sheets and more, but they can't be included if they have featured in another FUT promo during the TOTW period. Normally, there is a maximum of one player from any one team included in a TOTW lineup too, but it does happen very rarely in exceptional circumstances.

The TOTW squad is picked on single performances only, so goals and assists are not added cumulatively within the TOTW period, performances in domestic cup or European competitions also do not count towards TOTW selection criteria, so it's league performances only.
Ahead of the launch of FIFA 21, EA have confirmed that TOTW 1 will be launched on Wednesday September 30, with the game's Web App also launching on the same day.
But EA have also confirmed that the TOTW release time will be changing for FIFA 21 Ultimate Team. Previously, TOTW squads were revealed on social media at 3pm UK time on a Wednesday, with the TOTW squad being released into packs from 6pm on the same day.
However for FUT 21, EA have confirmed that TOTW lineups will be revealed at 6pm UK time on a Wednesday, with the squad getting released into packs at the same time.
Ahead of TOTW 1, we've looked at players who stand a chance of being included, in our FIFA 21 TOTW 1 predictions.
It looks likely that we could see the likes of Jamie Vardy, Wissam Ben Yedder and Ruben Dias all included in FUT 21 TOTW 1 on Wednesday at 6pm.
FIFA 21 has an official UK and worldwide release date of October 9, 2020, but some editions will allow you to play FIFA 21 earlier than this. EA Play subscribers will be able to access a ten-hour trial of FIFA 21 from Thursday October 1, 2020.
If you pre-order the FIFA 21 Ultimate Edition or Champions Edition on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC you’ll be able to play from October 6, 2020, with the Standard Edition allowing fans to play from the game's official UK and worldwide release date of October 9, 2020.
