FIFA 20 EA Access: FUT Web App info, features and all you need to know

FIFA 20 is out for release soon, with EA Sports' global behemoth launching in the UK next week.

The latest instalment of the hugely popular sports franchise will drop on shelves on Friday, September 27 - giving us just a few more days to wait until it's out.

But ahead of the game's impending release, fans can get their hands on FIFA 20 a whole week early thanks to the EA Access Trial.

With the early access period launching soon, here's everything you need to know about the trial.

FIFA 20 EA Access release date

The early access period for both FIFA 20 EA Access and Origin Access began on Thursday, September 20.

It dropped on all platforms, including PS4, Xbox One and on PC.

How to get EA Access

To play FIFA 20 early, you will need to sign up to EA Access for Xbox and PS4 or Origin Access for PC users.

It costs £3.99 a month or £19.99 for a year's membership, and allows you to download the game before it is released.

Those who sign up to the service can also get their hands on a host of other EA titles as well.

What is EA Access?

EA Access is essentially a version of the full game that limits members to 10 hours of gameplay, until FIFA 20's full release.

It allows players to get a head start on the game five days before launch, meaning they can build up points, coins and players which can then be transferred over to the game next week.

FIFA 20 Web App release date

The web app was released on Wednesday, September 16. Both the web app and the companion app went live a day before the EA Access.

What is the FIFA 20 Web App?

The app allows FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) players to manage their team and trade with others FUT players when not at their console.

It's a useful tool ahead of the game's release, as it means FUT players can get a head start by trading in the transfer market and complete squad building challenges.

FUT Web is an online extension available on web browsers, while the Companion App will launch on iOS and Android.

A statement on the EA Sports website reads: "The FUT Web App and other FIFA Web features are down for maintenance while we prepare for FIFA 20.

"The new web app launches on September 18th."

FIFA 20 release date

The full game will be released on September 27 on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
