The FF PAC, the largest super PAC supporting Kamala Harris for president, has made headlines with its recent fundraising success. In the first half of October alone, the super PAC reported an impressive $89 million in fundraising. Additionally, the group disclosed a substantial total of nearly $139 million in spending during the first sixteen days of the month.
Playing a significant role in the pro-Harris effort, FF PAC has emerged as the largest outside advertiser in the presidential election. The super PAC continued to attract substantial donations during the last comprehensive FEC reporting period before the election.
Notable donors to FF PAC include Facebook co-founder Dustin Moskovitz, who contributed a total of $38 million this year, with $25 million donated in three installments during October. Other major donors giving seven-figure sums include Martha Karsh, David Lippe, and George Marcus.
While Moskovitz stood out as the largest named donor in the October reporting period, the Democratic dark money group Future Forward USA Action made the most significant contribution to FF PAC, providing $40 million in the first half of the month and over $128 million since the beginning of the year.
Recent reports also revealed that Bill Gates, one of the world's wealthiest individuals, has been a substantial donor to Future Forward USA Action, contributing approximately $50 million. As a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization, Future Forward USA Action is not obligated to disclose its donors, meaning Gates' reported contributions to the pro-Harris effort would not be publicly available.
