Feyenoord technical director Dennis te Kloese has revealed that he has "heard nothing" from Leeds United regarding the club's pursuit of Arne Slot and admitted that he does not believe the Whites are talking "behind our backs".
Following Jesse Marsch's sacking, a host of names have been linked with the top job at Elland Road. A winless streak in the Premier League that stretches back to November saw the board take action as they relieved the American of his duties and are now in search of his replacement.
Former under-23s and first-team coach Carlos Corberan was briefly the odds-on favourite before West Bromwich Albion confirmed that their current manager would remain at the Hawthorns for the foreseeable after agreeing a new deal.

Slot has since taken the box seat and has attracted praise from across Europe for his fast and aggressive style of football that has seen Feyenoord climb to the top of the Eredivisie, having only lost one game all season.
And after Slot revealed that he would "open a message" from Leeds should they get in contact with him about becoming the club's manager, Feyenoord's technical director Te Kloese has now had his say on matters.
"I have heard nothing from Leeds," he told Dutch outlet Voetbal International. "Neither officially nor unofficially. Besides, I know Leeds as a correct club, so I don’t believe they are playing this behind our backs. Last summer, Luis Sinisterra's transfer also just went in a very neat, correct way.”
