Fever-Mystics drew the biggest crowd in WNBA history right at regular season’s close

The WNBA’s regular season for the Indiana Fever and the Washington Mystics ended with a bang on Thursday night.

As rookie guard Caitlin Clark and the Fever made the trip up to D.C. to Capital One Arena, plenty of fans made it to see the regular-season finale.

So many people, in fact, that the game drew the biggest crowd in WNBA history with 20,711 in attendance, according to the game broadcast.

This is an absolutely remarkable moment for the league, even though the starters didn’t really play down the stretch for either team.

If you want to win WNBA trivia one day, remember this game and how many people showed up to see these two teams play. It’s the biggest crowd the league has ever seen for one of its games, as Washington got the 92-91 win.
