Alvaro Arbeloa and Fernando Torres had to be separated after the former Liverpool duo clashed during a Spanish Cup fixture on Sunday afternoon.
The pair have both gone into management since retiring as footballers, with Arbeloa in charge of Real Madrid under-19s and Torres at the helm of the same age category for Atletico Madrid.
Facing off in the second leg of their quarter-final Youth Champions Cup tie, a flashpoint occurred after Real forward Yeray was left injured on the floor but Torres' side chose not to pause play. Los Blancos soon scored moments later, sparking wild scenes from both benches.

After approaching Torres on the touchline, Arbeloa was pushed by the ex-Liverpool forward before words were exchanged between the duo. As reported by Relevo, Torres is understood to have said 'I'll blow your head off', to which Arbeloa responded 'Start whenever you want.'
Taking control of the situation, Arbeloa was shown a yellow card while Torres was sent off. Real Madrid eventually came out on top 4-2 on aggregate, progressing to the semi-finals of the Youth Champions Cup at the expense of their local rivals.
A total of nine yellow cards were brandished during proceedings, six of which were for Atletico. First signs of ill-discipline are understood to have been witnessed at half-time, with some players needing to be pulled apart on their way to the changing rooms as 'defiant shouts' were heard from the stands.
