Interim Rangers head coach Barry Ferguson says he will take inspiration from Dick Advocaat, Walter Smith and Alex McLeish as he prepares his side to face Fenerbahce in the Europa League tomorrow evening.
At least in managerial terms, Ferguson is relatively inexperienced at European level, having never taken charge of a team in continental competition before.
That will change tomorrow, and he will be up against one of the most successful bosses in UEFA tournaments in the form of Jose Mourinho.
Ahead of the match, Ferguson has revealed that he will look to some of his predecessors for a blueprint of how to win: "I'll take a bit of inspiration, not just from Walter Smith, who was a great manager, but also Dick Dick Advocaat and Alex McLeish," he said.

"I know a lot of people say that I'm new to this job, and rightly so. But I've played in a lot of European games. Whether that be the Champions League or the UEFA Cup that was at that stage.
"I understand the times that you need to play a different way. That's something that me and my coaching staff have sat down and spoke about.
"As I said, the coaching staff have a lot of experience in Europe. We're not going into this blind. We're coming up against, as I mentioned, a very good team with very good players. And in my opinion, a top manager.
"So we're expecting a tough night. But we're prepared. The guys know their jobs. They know their roles. Nothing without the ball. So let's just look ahead to the game tomorrow night."
Rangers were knockout of the Europa League by Benfica at this stage last season.
Ferguson will look to go on better than Philippe Clement and take his side to the last eight of the competition.
He also provided an update on the fitness of defensive duo John Souttar and Leon Balogun ahead of tomorrow's match.
The Ibrox boss remains hopeful that they can feature: "John Souttar and Leon Balogun both trained again today," said Ferguson.
"I need to wait to see how they react to training today. Hopefully, [they'll be] available tomorrow night."
